loretta bayliss end of year message

2016 has been another year of momentous milestones and achievements for Prescience Technology and I want to extend a big “Thank You!” to anyone reading this. Whether you know Prescience as a client, as a partner, as part of our team or simply as a member of our wider community, nothing we have achieved this year would have been possible without you.

2017 will mark our 12th anniversary and while we like to think of ourselves as a small company with a big family culture, this year we have continued to grow in every way:

Technology

As far back as 2010, Prescience Technology was the first organisation in Australia to pilot fully integrated and cloud-based Project Controls Solutions. This year, we saw five years of research, innovation and pilot implementations culminate in the Prescience Project Driven Cloud™, a fully integrated and cost effective cloud solution for all organisations, powered by Oracle.

Team

Continued growth and demand for our new and existing product and service offerings has allowed us to expand our team in almost every state in Australia.

Last month I was delighted to announce the appointment of our long-serving Practice Manager of Technology Services, Wayne Wilson, to the role of Chief Operating Officer. It’s incredibly exciting to have Wayne in this role, as he has played and will continue to play a crucial role in helping shape our future trajectory and continuing delivery capability.

This year I was thrilled to also announce the appointment of Andrew Bowen to the senior sales team. Andrew has been in the industry for 18 years and has a great understanding of Oracle technologies with a clear focus on core Oracle and ERP technologies. His appointment underscores our commitment to the Oracle integrated cloud and platform services product suite.

Tenacity

Early in the year we were named by CIOoutlook magazine as one of the top 25 Oracle Solution Providers in APAC, in recognition of our commitment to excellence by supporting clients well beyond an advisory level.

Later in the year, Wayne Wilson presented a paper at Collaborate16 in Las Vegas, where he also accepted an award from Oracle Primavera Vice President, Oliver Greenwood, naming Prescience Technology the highest performing Oracle Primavera Cloud Partner in JAPAC.

Looking Ahead

As we see out 2016, I am excited by the opportunities and challenges the New Year will bring. Early in 2017 we will be announcing an exciting new partnership that builds on our strategic partnership with Oracle and our ongoing commitment to providing exceptional training delivery. I am also incredibly excited to launch in the New Year a range of new product offerings across the board – extending our training, technology and project delivery capabilities.

In closing, I wish every one of you, your teams, and your families the very best for 2017. My sincere thanks go out to you all for your ongoing support. We could not have done it without you!
